Pioneer Hollard Inc. with Trade Name uBe Rhino is a Joint Venture company established by Pioneer Life Inc., Pioneer Insurance & Surety Corporation together with Hollard International Proprietary Limited. The primary purpose of Pioneer Hollard Inc. is to develop and operate a call centre business focused on outbound Telemarketing, selling Pioneer underwritten insurance products to target customer segments in the Philippines. The company will also provide customer relationship management services (focused on outbound telemarketing) but which may also include email, sms, web chat and other communication channels. Pronounced as “You Be Rhino”, the trade name is an amalgamation of “ube”, the purple yam which is a staple Filipino dessert and “rhino” one of Africa’s big five game animals.
