It became affiliated with MASS-SPECC Cooperative Development Center in 2000 and with the Philippine Federation of Credit Cooperatives in 2002. In 2003 it became a partner of the Credit Union Empowerment and Strengthening (CUES) and it was during this period that OSSMPC shifted from share-leveraging to capacity-based lending. At present, it has five branches; with its head office based in Capistrano-Echem Sts. OSSMPC strives to teach its members to save and to help one another mutually in economic undertakings. It operates with the vision of becoming a strong, viable, and trusted cooperative in Northern Mindanao which is responsive to the needs of its members and with the mission to satisfy the financial needs of its members.
