ORO OXYGEN CORPORATION (OOC) is a Filipino-owned corporation established on April 4, 2006. It is engaged in the production and distribution of industrial and medical gases as well as liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) under the trade name “OOC”.

The word “Oro” is derived from Cagayan de Oro City, the place where the incorporators came from. It is a Spanish term for “gold”, a very precious metal. Through strategic planning and calculated risk taking, the company seeks a fast growth in all its undertakings to deliver “gold” to its stockholders.

Its humble beginnings maybe traced when some of the incorporators served as middlemen for an oxygen supplier in Cagayan de Oro City in early 2000. Through the aggressiveness of these sales brokers, the oxygen supplier was able to penetrate the market of its competitors. These same guys met and agreed to organize a corporation engaging in the dealership of products of the said oxygen supplier. Soon after, the incorporators operated profitably through individual terms that led eventually for the company to be established.

The company started its operations in Cagayan de Oro City in April 2006. Seeing the great market potential in industrial gases in the part of Luzon, the company began its operations in Pampanga. OOC is now in the business of manufacturing and distribution of Oxygen, Acetylene and LPG in the City of San Fernando, Pampanga. Its dealership in industrial gases in Mindanao continues to operate servicing its existing customers.

The company is undertaking major expansion projects in different parts of Luzon to tap the expanding markets, to ensure the overall presence of the company, and to serve its customers better.

To date, the company has Corporate Office in Pryce Center Bldg., Chino Roces Avenue, Makati City, headed by Mr. Carlitos Nazar B. Dy (CNBD), Executive Vice-President, Chief Operating Officer and two (2) Regional Offices:

1. Northern Luzon Operations (NLO) located in Sindalan, City of San Fernando, Pampanga, headed by Mr. Rudy T. Abuyog (RTA), President, and Regional Executive Officer of NLO.

2. Southern Luzon Operations (SLO), located at Pryce Center Bldg., Chino Roces Avenue, Makati City, headed by Mr. Jonax D. Aguadera (JDA), Executive Vice-President, Regional Executive Officer of SLO
