BioPower consists of San Carlos BioPower Inc., South Negros BioPower Inc., and North Negros BioPower Inc. (“BioPower” or “Company”) which are greenfield, standalone biomass power plants supplying baseload power to the local grid. BioPower’s three (3) biomass power plants (BPPs) are located in the island of Negros in the Philippines, a prime agricultural area in the region. Feedstock for Biopower’s BPPs consist of sugarcane residues typically left in the fields after harvest, energy crops from dedicated plantations, and other locally-available agricultural biomass residue. BioPower is committed to providing sustainable power from renewable sources of energy and to maintaining the environmental integrity of their surrounding area.
