The Montemar Beach Club, Inc. (“MBC” or the “Club”) was incorporated as a non-stock, non-profit corporation in 1978 and has since been operating as a private membership beach resort Club. The Club has approximately 350 active members among its 8000 proprietary shareholders, and is open to members, their guests and sponsored groups. As a beach resort, MBC is ideal for rest, recreation, dining, conventions, parties and weddings. Montemar Beach Club, Inc. is majority-owned by Philippine Communications Satellite Corporation (Philcomsat).
MBC boasts of a 12-hectare cove with a 500 meter-long powdery white sand beach. Located at the serene beach of Sitio Pasinay, Barangay Pag-Asa, Bagac, Bataan, MBC has been regarded as “the most beautiful white sand beach resort closest to Manila” as it is approximately 150 km or a mere 2 1/2 hour-drive away from Manila.
Three swimming pools (Members’ Pool, Pavilion Pool and Garden Pool) are also available at the Club. Various indoor and outdoor activities such as kayaking, jet-skiing, horse-back riding, and fishing are offered at the Club for everyone’s enjoyment.
The Club features 89 plantation-inspired rooms spread among the five Mediterranean-styled inns that provide comfort and space for relaxation. Ocean View and Garden View rooms are offered at the Club to provide scenic views for a worthwhile and memorable experience. The inns feature neutral earth-tone furnishings to give home-like experience to guests. Amenities include air-conditioning, in-room safe, television, mini-refrigerator, toiletries and Wi-Fi.
MBC has a Conference Building which consists of a Convention Hall and four smaller function rooms named Mariveles, Hermosa, Samat A and Samat B. The Convention Hall has a seating capacity of up to 300 pax in a theatre set up and 250 pax in a banquet set up. The Mariveles and Hermosa function rooms each have a seating capacity of up to 30 pax and 70 pax when combined. The Samat A and Samat B rooms, on the other hand, can seat up to 80 pax per room or 180 pax when combined.
