Marayo Bank, Inc. (A Rural Bank) formerly the Rural Bank of Marayo (Neg. Occ.), Inc. was organized and incorporated under the provisions of the Rural Banks Act for the purpose of providing the people of the rural communities with the means of facilitating and improving their productive activities through easily accessible credit facilities on reasonable terms, and to encourage cooperatives.

The bank envisions a wider client outreach by providing the public with a broad range of financial services such as deposits, loans, payment services, and money transfers.

Marayo Bank, Inc. (A Rural Bank) was founded under the Rural Bank’s Act, Republic Act no. 720 of 1952. It was registered with the Securities and Exchange Commission as Rural Bank of Marayo (Neg. Occ.), Inc. in the form of a stock corporation. It was formally opened on November 18, 1969, with the authority to operate issued by the Central Bank of the Philippines, then rise at the Southern part of Negros Occidental, the RURAL BANK OF MARAYO (NEG. OCC.), INC. located at Cortez Street, Brgy. 1, Pontevedra, Negros Occidental started to operate.
