LUIS HORA MEMORIAL REGIONAL HOSPITAL

I. Mandate:

Mountain Province General Hospital was created thru Republic Act (RA) 1806 on June 22, 1957. From 1964 to 1977, it operated with 50 beds capacity, and later increased to 75. On April 27, 1984, the hospital was renamed Luis Hora Memorial Hospital thru Batas Pambansa Blg. 836.
In 1993, the hospital was devolved to the Local Government of Mountain Province thru RA 7160, known as the Local Government Code of 1991. By 1998, thru RA 8314, the hospital was re-nationalized and designated as the regional hospital of the Cordillera Administrative Region, and was renamed Luis Hora Memorial Regional Hospital (LHMRH). On June 9, 2014, thru RA 8413, the administrative order setting the implementing rules and regulations as regional hospital was approved.
On October 30, 2018, Republic Act (R.A.) No. 11104, “An Act Increasing the Bed Capacity of the Luis Hora Memorial Regional Hospital from One Hundred (100) to Two Hundred (200) Beds, Upgrading the Service Facilities and Professional Health Care Therein, and Appropriating Funds Therefor.” was approved. The Administrative Order setting the Implementing Rules and Regulations of Republic Act (R.A.) No. 11104 was approved on June 25, 2019.

To be the premier tertiary hospital in Central and Northern Cordillera by 2026.
