Established in 1989 in Malabon City, LODYS FOOD CORPORATION traces its roots to a humble beginning as a backyard manufacturer of homemade delicacies. Founded and managed by Mrs. Alodia Ricasa, the company initially focused on crafting treats such as Yema, Sampaloc, Pulvoron, Peanut Bar, Gelatin, Fried Pusit, and Dilis.
In 1993, driven by a commitment to expansion, FIRST PRIORITY shifted its focus to the manufacturing of Crispy Fried Anchovy and Squid. Despite this specialization, the company continued to create affordable and delicious homemade products like Candy Cane and Pastillas. The popularity of Crispy Fried Anchovy and Squid surged, prompting FIRST PRIORITY to concentrate on meeting the growing demand in stores and supermarkets.
Recognizing the potential in homemade Pastillas in 2000, Mrs. Alodia Ricasa, fondly known as "Lody," embarked on perfecting the recipe, refining the texture, and introducing flavors that would later become LODYS PASTILLAS. This prompted the establishment of ACR TRADING INC., which not only specialized in Pastillas but also distributed other products, including Gummy Candies, Yema Cubes, Chocolate Cubes, and Marshmallows
In 2022, the company underwent a transformation into LODYS FOOD CORPORATION, now managed by Mrs. Alodia Ricasa's four children. While maintaining its staple products, LFC has emerged as one of the leading suppliers of homemade Pastillas in supermarkets and groceries across Metro Manila and the greater Luzon area.
With a continuous desire for expansion, LODYS FOOD CORPORATION is set to broaden its reach by tapping into the Vismin market by the end of 2023, solidifying its position as a dynamic and innovative player in the homemade delicacies industry.
