KEMPAL CONSTRUCTION AND SUPPLY CORPORATION (KCSC), formerly KEMPAL United Corporation, is a
corporate entity, duly registered on February 3, 1997, with the Securities and Exchange Commission under and
in accordance with provisions of the Corporation Laws of the Philippines with Security and Exchange Commission
(SEC) Registration No. A199701717, with domicile address at Satellite Office – JMBC Bldg., Zanzibar St., Cor.
Rockefeller St., Makati City, Philippines.
Prior to its incorporation, Engr. Pepito Pajarillo Lo, a Mechanical Engineering graduate of Adamson University,
established and operated Shinyo Heavy Equipment and Industrial Supply in 1976 as a single proprietorship,
with three (3) staff members along with a few Japanese consultants as his Business Associates. Shinyo Heavy
Equipment Enterprise engaged in trading, indent and importation of heavy equipment parts, electrical, industrial
equipment and spare parts. The volume of business transactions grew considerably, Engr. Lo, thought it best to
convert the business into a corporation to establish a stronger identity. Thus, in January 1997, KEMPAL United
Corporation was established to continue the business of Shinyo. In addition to its services offered, the
Engineering Department's scope of work was expanded to accommodate systems integration, preventive
maintenance services, upgrading / retrofit and supply, installation of supplied equipment and parts projects to
major industrial facilities in the Philippines.
During mid of 2009, sales revenues significantly increased in the field of construction and engineering industry.
Hence, the Board of Directors unanimously agreed to amend the company’s name In order to further emphasize
its new service offerings to major commercial establishments. Therefore, on July 3, 2014, KEMPAL Construction
and Supply Corporation was adopted as its new company name.
