Background of the Company

HOUSE TECHNOLOGY INDUSTRIES PTE LTD (HTI) was incorporated on March 20, 1996.

Originally from small area, HTI moves to a bigger location on November 1996. A 20,000m2 lot area and 12,000m2 building floor are along Block 25C, Phase IV, Expansion Area, Cavite Economic Zone, Rosario, Cavite. HTI started its actual operation, armed with 120 personnel operating on a day-shift schedule.

From Initially manufacturing pre-fabricated bathroom units, it expanded to deal with various housing parts year by year such as Shower rooms, Counters, Baywindows, Wall, Roof and Floor panels with Expanded Polystyrene (EPS) and Polyurethane Insulation, Balcony, Siding Board, Tile, and other housing parts. The raw materials being used to make the products were commonly imported from other countries such as U.S.A., Japan, Taiwan, and Malaysia. HTI finished products are all being exported to Japan.

On year 2011, a new process has been added such us i-cube and Ceramics that engaged in Tiles and Granite at CEZ II (Eco-Zone that owned by the management) due to increasing demand of customer and its product.

As of October 2013, total lot area is about 460,000m2 in Cavite Economic Zone 1 and Cavite Economic Zone 2 (CEZ II) with total manpower is about 15,000.

Now HTI has a total of six (6) facilities with twenty seven (27) major processes wherein twenty (20) are engaged in production and seven (7) are acting as support group with more than 12,000 manpower.

HTI has an internationally acclaimed standard on Quality Management System from ISO 9001:2008 to ISO 9001:2015 as certified by the TÜV Rheinland Philippines, Inc on its products.

HTI management team is composed of able and trained professional, which is a combination of a Japanese and Filipino Staff.

2021 Guinness World Record holder of the Largest Pre-fabricated House Factory in the World.

EMPLOYEES BENEFITS

HTI Pte., Ltd. implements the developed benefit programs of the government for the labor force. We make sure that all mandated benefits such as SSS, HDMF, Philhealth, ECC, Holiday and overtime pay, 13th-month pay, and others as stated in the labor code are being implemented.

In addition, the company offers its employees their own set of benefits and to continuously encourage aspiring employees, the following company initiated benefits were given including (1) free medical examination prior to deployment and annual physical examination, (2) free uniform, (3) meal allowance, and (4) casual perfect attendance incentive as appreciation for casual members' unwavering support and perseverance to work everyday.

The management also understood the burden of new employees from provinces in terms of accommodation and need for allowance for their daily needs, so on year 2021, the company launched its own dormitory with complete facilities exclusive for newly hired employees near the zone with the lowest rental rate. The company also offers, advance salary to sustain the daily needs of newly hired employees and to lessen their financial burden. In recognition of employees’ annual efforts, the company provides packages to all employees occasionally and every December.

Furthermore, to continuously encourage and recognize the efforts and loyalty, all regular employees have their own advantages, such as Service Incentives, Perfect Attendance, Work Process Incentives, Housing Program, School exclusive for employees’ children and so on. The provided benefits to each individual are always being improved by management.


SAFETY

One of the primary objectives of all the trainings being conducted to its employees is to have a safe working environment. Employees became aware that it’s necessary to act in a manner wherein safety will be a priority. To ensure and maintains health and safety procedures in the company, it assigns a Safety Officer in all areas which acts in the advocacy of achieving zero accident by identifying and controlling hazards in the work place and correcting unsafe work practices.

Since the start of pandemic, the company has been strictly implementing the safety protocols stated in the IAFT guidelines for COVID19 prevention such as promoting the frequent hand washing, disinfection, social distancing and proper wearing of facemask. The company also encourages its employees to undergo vaccination thru its in-house vaccination program in cooperation with the LGU, which started last year.


TRAININGS & ACTIVITIES

Prior to employee deployment in the actual process, the management provides

an appropriate training and orientation such as Fire Suppression / Hydrant Training, ISO Orientation, 5’S Orientation, etc. The management is also engage in conducting trainings such as motivational, kaizen, leadership and promotion trainings to uplift the morale and improve the skills of its employees.

Furthermore, to foster continual progress and skill development, employees are given various on-site, off-site and virtual training on the company's procedures and other activities in order to enhance their knowledge and apply it to production if it is judged necessary.
