GMP Telco, Inc. had its beginning when it was awarded as one of the pioneer Premium Dealers of Globe Telecom eight years ago.

It was last July of 2011 when GMP Telco, Inc. opened its first PD Globe store at Solenad 2, Nuvali in Santa Rosa City, Laguna. As the company braced for challenges as pioneers in this Globe's endeavour, GMP Telco, Inc. expanded its portfolio and opened another PD Globe store at Sunstar Mall in Santa Cruz, Laguna, the capital town of the province. It has been in operations since May of 2012. Both of the first two stores were, at that time, categorized as full stores.

In August of 2014, GMP Telco, Inc. opened its third store at Waltermart Cabuyao in Laguna. Serving the town of Cabuyao who don't want to brave the traffic of applying and paying bills in the nearby big cities of Santa Rosa and Calamba, the 26 square meter store fulfilled the needs of the locality. It is categorized as a kiosk store. After a year, the company opened another kiosk store - this time in Ayala Malls Serin in Tagaytay City. It was a thirty-five square meter kiosk store serving the needs of the Tagaytay City and nearby communities. It has been in operations since June of 2015.

In February of 2016, the company opened its 6th and 7th stores-at Central Mall Binan and at Robinsons Place Antipolo, respectively. Those were categorized as micro stores, with at least fifty square meters of space. It has also acquired one PD store under Globe Advance Mobile Technology, Inc., together with a fellow PD owner, the PD Cash & Carry Mall in Makati City. It's also categorized as a micro store.

Globe introduced its new concept - the Gen3 store and Globe Nuvali was nominated as one of the first PDs to be transformed into one. On its fifth year of operations of the first store, the new Gen3 store was unveiled in October of 2016.

In the year 2018, the company decided to cease the operations of PD Central Mall Binan due to signal issues, lower than expected revenue, among others. GMP Telco, Inc. ended the year with six stores under its operations - one Gen3, one full store, two micro stores and two kiosk stores.

This 2019, GMP Telco, Inc. is looking forward to expanding its reach in the Visayas region as it was awarded the Premium Dealership for Island Central Mall Mactan in Lapu-Lapu City, Cebu. It is slated to open this March.

With the challenges looming ahead the entry of the 3rd Telco player, lower acquisition numbers, thinning margins, higher operational costs, etc., GMP Telco, Inc. remains bullish and confident as a Globe partner in seeking for more opportunities moving on.
