DCCCO Multipurpose Cooperative (DCCCO) was founded on February 17, 1968, in Dumaguete City, Negros Oriental by Mother Marcela Foret O’Carm, Bishop Epifanio B. Surban, and Gov. Mariano F. Perdices. Because of the socio-economic difficulties experienced by the community, DCCCO was organized in Dumaguete Cathedral College (DCC), now Colegio de Santa Catalina de Alejandria (COSCA). Initially, it had 49 members composed of DCC parents and teachers with an initial capitalization of 1,181.50.
Today DCCCO has grown and serves over 150,000 members with a total asset of 8.9 billion pesos. We have established nine (9) branches and twelve (12) satellite offices serving the provinces of Negros Oriental, Occidental, Siquijor, and Cebu.
