Culion Sanitarium and General Hospital is a 100-bed Level 1 hospital under the Department of Health with departmentalized services for Internal Medicine, Pediatrics, General Surgery, Obstetrics and Gynecology, and Anethesia. It has also an in-house Ophthalmology service. Furthermore it has linkages with Rizal Medical Center for Dermatology service and National Children's Hospital for pediatric subspecialty services. It has a Level III laboratory capable of culture and sensitivity testing and confirmatory testing for tuberculosis and COVID-19 with its GeneXpert system. Its diagnostic armament includes CT scan, C arm, 2D Echo, 3D ultrasound and digital mobile x-ray.
It is located on a hill overlooking the pristine waters of the Calamian group of islands in Northern Palawan.It is about an hour's boat ride from Coron, Palawan.
