The Cooperative Bank of Cebu (“CBC”) is owned, operated and patronized by Cooperatives and Federations of Cooperatives in the Cities and Province of Cebu. It was registered with the Cooperative Development Authority (CDA) on 24 March 1993 and with the Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas on April 18, 1993. The bank is presently run by an eleven-member Board of Directors elected from among the representatives of the Cooperatives and Federations of Cooperatives. Aside from its main branch in M. Velez, Cebu City, CBC has three branches located within the Cebu Province namely: Carcar, Danao and Bogo.

VISION: We envision the Cooperative Bank of Cebu to be a model Cooperative Bank in the Philippines and the preferred banking institution of the Cooperatives and Federations of Cooperatives in Cebu Province.

MISSION: To generate sustainable funds to service the banking needs of its members and promote financial inclusion to the unbankable sectors of society. Likewise, to participate as conduit in the government’s economic development programs.
