HISTORY AND PROFILE
The Collezione brand was established 51 years ago (1972) and was one of the pioneers of producing local branded apparel in the Philippines. Colleziones’ specialty is manufacturing and marketing of men’s t- shirt (with collar and cuff).
Back in 1972, Collezione got its inspiration from world-class brands that could only be admired through the pages of magazines. The importation of high quality garments was very limited during those days and the Philippines population had little access to high quality imported garments. Thus, the company wanted to fill the need of Filipino people and supply them with high quality, imported looking t-shirt that were locally made.
With the wealth of experience the company gathered through more than three decades of existence, the brand established itself as a durable, high quality and well styled t-shirt brand. Back in the mid 1980’s Collezione expanded its product lines and introduced women’s wear, and toward the late 1980’s included children wear as well.
Today, Collezione is supported by two retailing/marketing organizations: that distributes its merchandise nationwide. Collezione is sold through several outlets within department stores and through a chain of boutiques that are scattered nationwide. Collezione is most visible in SM department stores as well as other leading department stores in Luzon, Visayas and Mindanao.
Our merchandise is produced by a team of more than 100 employees, which consists of mainly sewers, finishers and support personnel. (This does not include the employees of the two marketing organizations). Furthermore, Collezione also has 9 subcontractors that support its manufacturing divisions.
In November of 2000, Collezione setup TeamC2.The function of this new team is to launch a new brand called C2 and at the same time. re- invent and modernize the flagship brand Collezione. The purpose of the C2 brand is to offer hip new clothes for the younger generation (teens) and maintain a stronghold in the middle-aged market of Collezione. Moreover, the birth of this new C2 brand is also strategically tasked to rejuvenate, inject you and vitality in the Collezione brand in order to bring back Collezione to its leadership status.
