Calmia Nickel, Inc. (CNI) is a corporation duly organized and existing under and by virtue of the laws of the Republic of the Philippines, with the office address at Sitio Linao, Barangay Ipilan, Brooke's Point, Palawan. Its amended articles of incorporation in the Philippine Security and Exchange Commission was adopted on the 8th day of October 2021 with SEC Registration No. CS202105885.
The Primary purpose for which the corporation is formed is to undertake activities involving large-scale exploration, development, and utilization of mineral resources as well as the conduct of exploration and mineral processing activities pursuant to agreements or such mineral agreements and other permits and agreements as may be allowed by the law, which shall entail extraction, production, and export of minerals; purchase and importation of machinery and equipment necessary to explore, extract and process minerals.
On July 29, 2021, CNI entered into and execute a Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) with Macroasia Mining Corporation (MMC), relative to the exploration, development, operation, and utilization of the mineral property covered by the MPSA No. 220-2005-IVB located in Barangays Ipilan, Mambalot, and Maasin Brooke's Point, Palawan Province, and to do such necessary acts and things in relation thereto. The MOA has been approved by the Mines and Geosciences Bureau (MGB) Central Office on March 2, 2022, granting the legal identity of the Corporation to transact as the "Authorized Operator" on behalf of MMC as the "Permit Holder", for the commencement of the aforementioned activities.
CNI is presently undertaking its permitting phase for the Declaration of Mining Project Feasibility, which will be essential in transcending from exploration to development stage and subsequently commence mining operation.
The main goal of CNI is to carry out its first operation in Palawan with a pro-people and pro-environment approach in order to support wealth creation and sustainable development. The business will be conducted in a way that meets the present needs of all relevant sectors of society without compromising future generations' quality of life in Palawan.
