 Buk-an’s Siomai is an inspiring success story of a dishwasher turned into entrepreneur. It was truly a leap of faith when Rolly Besana Divino, Jr. decided to leave his job at a well-known fast-food chain after a decade of dedicated service. In 2009, he immediately started making siomai from a kilo of pork as a start-up product for his business. Having struggled in life during his childhood, growing from a broken-family, he never succumbed to extreme challenges along his entrepreneurial journey. It was his deep faith in God and his desire to be a good provider to his family that propelled him not to back down but braved all kinds of obstacles in his pursuit to excel as an entrepreneur. The undying support of his equally passionate and purpose driven wife, Melody Tayo Divino, also played a key role in situating Buk-an’s Siomai at its current state. Truly a COUPLE POWER!
 As we looked back, the rest is history. Buk-an’s Siomai is right now producing different kinds products other than siomai. Currently it has a staff complement of 43 manning its Main Office, Production, 2 Dine-in Stores and 2 Food Cart. The journey continues and Buk-an’s Siomai will surely soar high because of the strong Faith in God of “Buk-an” (Rolly’s endearment)…”TILAWI LANG” as its tagline goes (better translated as “taste & see” not “just try”) coined by Buk-an exemplifying his humility as he develop different kinds of products through God’s inspiration.
