The first and premier resort in Panglao Island Bohol, was opened in 1984 as a Dive Resort. Situated in a quiet part in the Island of Panglao with pristine waters, spacious gardens and peaceful surroundings, the 14 hectares with a beach front of approximately 200 meters, Bohol Beach Club continues to provide world class service and facilities for the most discerning travelers. Bohol Beach Club also known as “BBC” also boasts of having the best beach in the Island that is private and all-natural with powdery white sand, clean turquoise waters and most importantly, all the breathing space needed in order to enjoy without unwanted distractions.
Bohol Beach Club was founded by the late Anos Fonacier, a Filipino nationality considered as the Father of Bohol Tourism due to his foresight and contributions in the development of the tourism industry, both Bohol and Cebu.
Previously, Bohol Beach Club was part of a group of resorts under its Mother company, Tambuli Resorts. This group of resorts was comprised of Tambuli Beach Club East wing and West wing, Cebu Beach Club which was both located in Mactan Cebu and Blues Sky Sea Resort and BBC are in Panglao Island Bohol. Both resorts in Mactan Cebu have already been sold. Aside from being the first and premier resort in Panglao Island Bohol, BBC used to be the largest with a room inventory of 168 rooms in a sprawling 60 hectare property. Over 40 hectares of the property which included 80 rooms have been sold last 2013. Despite the downsizing of the property, a major increase in guest satisfaction and high turnout in return guests has proven that this move was a turn for the positive.
