It is a cogeneration plant with a capacity of 200 T/H x 52 MW supplying the electricity and steam requirement of companies in the TECO Special Economic Zone and sell the excess electricity to off-takers outside the economic zone.
Natural circulation, single-drum type circulating bed boiler technology. Uses coal as the major fuel and may be use blended fuel (coal mix with paper sludge or coal mix with shredded tire). The coal has a fly-ash content considered as a byproduct and source of other income for the company.
Equipped with the extraction - condensing type turbine to offer the maximum 95 T/H of process steam.
