Leveraging on its global network of expertise and resources to deliver innovative, high quality and cost-effective pilot training solutions, the Group took hold of the Asia-Pacific market and established AAG Philippines (AAGP) in 2005 to offer one of the first Multi-Crew Pilot License (MPL) training in the world. AAGP’s mission is to “train and develop world-class pilots and future leaders for the aviation industry by providing top-of-class training solutions” and its vision is to see “an AAG-trained pilot in every flight deck in the region”.
In 2008, AAG UAE, was launched in partnership with the first and largest Low-Cost Carrier in MENA, Air Arabia. AAG UAE is the primary provider of ab-initio pilots for Air Arabia and the leading provider of MPL training in the region. Its vision is “to lead and set the highest standards of aviation training in the world” and its mission is “to consistently exceed world-class aviation training standards by working strategically with the best partners in the field, identifying key areas of development for an aviator’s career path”.
In the year 2017, AAG International Center for Aviation Training (AICAT) was established in San Fernando Airport, La Union, Philippines to cater to the ever-growing regional demand for world-class pilot training. This was followed by the creation of its own Approved Maintenance Organization (AMO).
AAG partnered with Anemos Aviation Private Ltd. to set up a 6-bay simulator training center in south India, AAG Centre for Aviation Training (ACAT). This platform was established in 2021 and became fully operational in the first quarter of 2022.
