AMTL is equipped with technically advanced civil engineering laboratory equipment and apparatuses for testing and analyzing various construction materials and products with quick turnaround times and accurate reporting of results. The professional services offered to conform to the standards, testing specifications, and guidelines set by ASTM and AASHTO to ensure accuracy and efficiency.

The services offered include the following: Testing of Cement, Soil and Soil Aggregates, Fine and Coarse Aggregates, Reinforcing Steel Bars (RSB)/Steel Products, Joint Sealant, Concrete and Concrete Aggregates, Asphaltic Materials, Concrete Hollow Blocks, Galvanized Steel Sheets and Wires, Paints, In-situ Test (Rebound Hammer, Field Density Test, Rebar Scanning), Bond Strength/Pull-Off Test of Epoxy and Adhesives, and other Miscellaneous Materials for Special Projects like Carbon Fiber Sheets and Plates. These tests are governed and managed by competent staff with adequate expertise, experience, and resources.

AMTL caters to Geological and Geo-technical Investigation using Standard Penetration Test (SPT), Plate Load Test, and Geo-resistivity Survey (Electrical Resistivity Tomography) for subsoil and subsurface exploration of various projects such as Bridges, Buildings, Reservoir, Flood Control Projects, etc. Geo-resistivity survey is also used for water exploration and to describe subsurface features such as the presence of contaminated groundwater, and sediment size distribution. AMTL also undertakes other consultancy services such as Parcellary Survey and Mapping, Feasibility Studies, and Environmental Impact Assessment of Government Projects.

Lastly, AMTL offers reliable services of foundation pile testing including the Pile Dynamic Load test (PDA), Cross Hole Sonic Logging Test (CSL), and Pile Integrity Test (PIT) using the latest equipment and in accordance with DPWH Policies and guidelines on the testing of Bored Piles for infrastructure projects (Annex A of DO# 37, s. 2016).
