ADRISTE PHILIPPINES, INC. (API) is a wholly owned manufacturing subsidiary of ADRISTE (HONGKONG) LTD., which is the holding company and corporate finance office of the Portolano Group of Companies. It was incorporated and registered with the Securities and Exchange Commission in October 1979 and as Export Processing Zone Enterprise under PEZA in 1980.
API manufactures for export to very selected and first-class buyers in New York, Canada, Japan, Australia, and other European countries such as France, West Germany, Switzerland, Sweden, Denmark, and Italy. Its products are well-known for very high quality of workmanship and materials. It uses the brand name Portolano which is well-known in many countries. However, majority of its clients attach their own brand names or labels like Coach, J. Crew, Lacoste, Theory, and many more.
