Job description
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Primarily responsible for providing timely and reliable safe transportation of all containers from port to FMPI and vice versa.
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Conducts Pre-departure Inspection before driving a vehicle.
2. Ensures safe pull outs of container per assigned contract.
3. Ensures that all trips are supported by trip ticket.
4. Ensures safe return of containers to avoid any demurrage.
5. Maintains cleanliness to assigned units.
6. Monitors preventive maintenance check-up (PMS).
7. Observe traffic rules and regulation at all times while driving.
8. Complies with the ISO procedures.
9. Performs tasks assigned from time to time.
