In International Tax and Transaction Services - Transfer Pricing, we provide organizations with a professional assessment of whether their existing intercompany pricing policies comply with tax laws and regulations by reviewing existing transfer pricing methods and recommending the adoption of the optimal model. Likewise, we help formulate planning ideas to ensure that pricing policies comply with regulations in different taxing jurisdictions to reduce risk of double taxation and arrive at an optimal supply chain structure. We also provide an integrated, multi-country approach to meet substantiation requirements to efficiently document transfer pricing policies. We also assist clients in handling transfer pricing audits of tax authorities by evaluating the validity and merits of their tax findings and helping in the resolution of transfer pricing issues.

The objective of our Transfer Pricing services is to ensure compliance with local and international tax regulations while optimizing value for our clients. Risk mitigation and adherence to OECD guidelines and BEPS action plans are of primary concern, and your role will focus on providing comprehensive services that address intercompany pricing issues.
You will be instrumental in supporting these services by gathering and analyzing data, conducting thorough economic analyses, and preparing relevant documentation and reports that are crucial for delivering our commitments to clients and stakeholders.
You will also assist clients across a wide range of industries, including industrials and mobility, consumer products, energy and resources, financial services, and technology, in evaluating and implementing transfer pricing strategies tailored to their specific business operations and regulatory requirements.
By working alongside EY professionals across various jurisdictions, you will contribute to delivering integrated, multi-jurisdictional transfer pricing solutions that harmonize global practices with local regulatory requirements.
Your key responsibilities
As an Associate within the International Tax and Transaction Services – Transfer Pricing, you will:
• Contribute to the delivery of processes, solutions, and projects by conducting research and presenting relevant information to inform transfer pricing recommendations.
• Deliver high-quality work and meet performance objectives that impact the immediate team.
• Assist in accurately determining the value of goods, services, and intangible assets for intercompany transactions, both for local and international tax purposes.
• Evaluate intercompany transaction data, tax obligations, and risk approaches to design action plans that comply with local transfer pricing rules and BEPS regulations.
• Assist in evaluating tax implications of transfer pricing policies, including the impact on global minimum tax liabilities, and ensure compliance with statutory and regulatory reporting obligations.
• Support the identification of strategies for resolving local and multi-country transfer pricing disputes, including risk assessment and impact analysis.
• Collaborate with team members to gather information on intercompany transactions, both domestic and cross-border, and support the development of transfer pricing analyses that are aligned with local and international requirements.
• Demonstrate knowledge of tax policies and regulations relevant to local and cross-border transfer pricing matters, and assist in drafting relevant documentation and communications for stakeholders.
Skills and attributes for success
- Basic understanding of BEPS and its action plans, including implications for international tax compliance.
- Familiarity with cross-border payment methods and the benefits and challenges associated with them.
