SPECIFIC DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
MANAGEMENT OF STORE OPERATIONS
1. Recommends appropriate training for selling personnel
2. Keeps track of attendance of store personnel and prepares Incident Violation Reports when
necessary
3. Checks manpower positioning and recommends changes when necessary
4. Supports management initiatives on strict implementation of policies on proper work
uniforms, wearing of ID and grooming
5. Prepares reports as required by management
6. Cascades merchandise information, selling strategies and display guidelines to improve their
selling opportunities
7. Assists in monitoring store operations metrics and ensures optimum levels are obtained
8. Keeps track of consumption of supplies and electricity and implements cost-effective
measures to maximize usage
MERCHANDISE AND DISPLAY
9. Fixes displays and replenishes stocks regularly
10. Reports to merchandising department on fast/slow moving items. Reports to buyers problem
stocks.
11. Implements concepts and directions for window display and item presentation
12. Makes recommendations on layout and fixtures to improve on merchandise visual
presentation
13. Ensures all visual display properties are well-maintained and window display is regularly
updated
14. Suggests new items based on customer demand
SALES AND CUSTOMER SERVICE
15. Supervises closely all selling activities by staff. Ensures proper positioning of staff according
to floor coverage. Maintains optimal customer service and compliance with company
standards
16. Recommends specific measures in order to ensure that sales targets are implemented and
achieved. Ensures efficient selling of staff through effective display and stock withdrawal of
merchandise
17. Monitors implementation of sales strategies and analyzes their effectiveness
