Under the supervision of the CRSP Lead, the CRSP Foreman is responsible for supervising and directing daily yard and warehouse operations. This position leads floor and yard crews, coordinates receiving and shipping activities with military and commercial carriers, enforces safety and PPE compliance, oversees material handling equipment (MHE) operations, investigates frustrated cargo, verifies HAZMAT documentation, and ensures throughput priorities are met across all assigned shifts.
- Direct, task, and supervise warehouse personnel in daily receiving, staging, packing, and dispatch operations.
- Ensure accountability for all cargo received and shipped through the CRSP facility.
- Oversee cargo discharge and loading operations involving flatbeds, commercial carriers, and containers.
- Verify Bills of Lading (BOLs), HAZMAT manifests, Transportation Movement Requests (TMRs), and other required documentation.
- Enforce OSHA and military safety standards; lead daily Tailgate Safety Meetings, conduct MHE operator spot checks, and ensure proper PPE usage.
- Investigate, isolate, and resolve frustrated or misrouted cargo; establish staging priorities to prevent cross contamination.
- Manage equipment maintenance logs, staging lane readiness, and facility preservation tasks.
- Ensure correct wrapping, palletizing, and preparation of outgoing shipments.
- Perform other duties and assignments as required.
