Job Description

Scope of Work:
1. Conducts research work and prepares data and analysis needed by the President and other senior officers for decision making;
2. Conducts policy studies and prepares proposals and position papers on issues that are pertinent to SHFC and the housing/housing finance sector;
3. Monitors, reviews, and analyzes reports of other Departments/Groups in accordance with the corporate goals, plans, and programs;
4. Prepares briefer, talking points, presentations, and other materials needed by the President for executive level discussions and meetings;
5. Attends to specific directives and special assignments instructed by the President, and monitors their execution;
6. Supervises the internal and external communication requirements of the President;
7. Maintains the Department's records and files in accordance with standards of record keeping, and controls and safeguards confidential documents and information; and
8. Recommends new or updating of Department processes, policies, and/or guidelines to improve performance.

Qualifications/Requirements

Qualification Standard
Education: Bachelor's degree in Economics, Industrial Engineering, Social Science/Sociology, Urban Studies/Town Planning
Experience: 2 years of relevant work experience
Training: 8 hours of relevant training

Required Knowledge and Skills
• Research and technical writing
• Sound methodologies on effective processes and procedures that will assist different corporate units to achieve their objectives and the overall corporate goals
• Competent oral communication skills (ability to conduct presentation to a large number of people and/or SHFC senior officers)
• Competent writing skills (ability to conduct critical analyses of issues/policies both external and internal related to planning policy and process analysis)
• Ability to do multi-tasking work
