- Performs various patient care services.
- Assists the nurse and doctor while performing procedures.
- Performs special procedures such as tube feeding and suctioning.
- Provides medical and surgical supplies needed for distribution.
- Monitors and records supply acquisition, consumption and balance and performs minor clerical work.
- Monitors tools and equipment in the assigned unit.
- Assists in the orientation of newly hired Nursing Attendants.
- Renders health teaching.
- Brings specimens to the laboratory.
- Performs other duties as may be assigned.
