FINANCE MANAGER

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

Financial Close & Reporting

• Own and drive the full month-end and year-end closing process, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and adherence to reporting timelines
• Prepare and review monthly and annual financial statements, journal entries, accounting schedules, and balance sheet reconciliations
• Ensure financial reports comply with accounting standards and local statutory requirements

Finance Operations & Controls

• Oversee end-to-end finance operations, including Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, General Ledger, taxation, and cash flow management
• Apply strong audit discipline and internal control frameworks to maintain compliance and mitigate risk
• Act as the primary point of contact for external auditors, tax agents, company secretaries, and bankers

People Leadership

• Lead, coach, and develop finance staff, fostering strong accounting discipline and accountability
• Partner closely with business stakeholders to provide commercial insights, financial guidance, and decision support
• Drive continuous process improvements and standardization, including initiatives to shorten close timelines and improve data quality

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or equivalent professional qualification
• Minimum 5-10 years of relevant experience.
• Proven experience managing or mentoring a finance team
• Strong hands-on exposure across AR, AP, GL, taxation, and financial reporting
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel with strong analytical skills
• Good command of spoken and written English
• Detail-oriented, structured, and able to work independently
• Strong ownership mindset with the ambition to grow into broader finance leadership
• Clear communicator and collaborative team player
• Comfortable working in a fully onsite environment in Makati
