BACKEND DEVELOPER:

• Implement and manage database schemas, ensuring data integrity and security.

• Integrate third-party services and APIs, including Xero API for accounting purposes.

• Collaborate with different stakeholders to ensure seamless integration of user-facing elements.

• Optimize the application for maximum speed and scalability.

• Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code.

• Troubleshoot and debug applications to ensure optimal performance.

• Ensure the system is clear, easy to navigate, and organized.

• Maintain detailed descriptions of the system and streamline the development process.


Qualifications/Requirements

Required Skills and Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree in any field (Computer Science, Design, or related field preferred but not required)
• Proven experience as a Back-End Developer or similar role.
• Strong knowledge of server-side programming languages (e.g., Python, Java, Node.js).
• Experience with database management systems (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB).
• Familiarity with Xero API and accounting principles.
• Understanding of front-end technologies (e.g., HTML, CSS, JavaScript) for seamless integration.
• Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git).
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
• Strong communication skills to collect information from the business group, including user behavior, expected outcomes, and work processes.
