Job Description

JOB DESCRIPTION:

  • Payroll & Timekeeping: Process timekeeping and payroll for all employees, ensuring accuracy in records, timely payment and strict adherence to deadlines. Ensure that pay slips are issued on time.
  • Leave & Attendance Management: Monitor and manage employee attendance and leave requests, ensuring accurate and timely updates to leave balances. Address attendance issues, including tardiness and absenteeism, in compliance with company policies, and issue disciplinary memorandums when necessary.
  • Employee Benefits & Government-Mandated Benefits Management: Administer end-to-end employee benefits (e.g., HMO, leaves) and government-mandated benefits (SSS, Pag-Ibig, PhilHealth), ensuring timely processing and compliance with regulations.
  • Compliance & Monitoring: Ensure all compensation and benefits tasks, including government loans, remittances, and benefits program changes, are processed according to regulatory requirements. Communicate relevant updates to employees and ensure full compliance with applicable labor and benefits laws.
  • Performance Monitoring & Appraisals: Track and process performance appraisals for probationary and regular employees. Ensure timely submission to department heads and proper filing.
  • Documentation & Record Keeping: Maintain and update 202 files (hard copies) and 201 files (soft copies), ensuring their safekeeping, accuracy and compliance with HR standards for documentation.
  • Processing of Last Pay & Resigned Employee Records: Process last pay for resigned employees, including final settlements and clearances. Update their records and ensure their removal from the company community channel.

Qualifications/Requirements

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor's degree in Psychology, Human Resources or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in HR generalist roles or leadership positions in HR.
  • In-depth knowledge of employment-related laws, regulations and HR best practices.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and other office applications.
  • Strong leadership abilities, with excellent decision-making and time management skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks effectively, especially under pressure, and prioritize responsibilities.
  • Demonstrates strong ethical standards in all HR practices.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate clearly at all levels.
  • Willingness to work in Binondo, Manila.
