Virtual Admin Assistant, be 100% YOU with MicroSourcing!

A Virtual Admin Assistant (With Healthcare Expe) is expected to:

• Portal management - processing incoming confirmations through an online portal, rescheduling and scheduling patients electronically; importing patient demographics into Compulink EHR Software.
• Medical Insurance verification and Vision Insurance verification through calls and online portals.
• Processing incoming e-faxes, attaching to the proper patients & creating necessary to-do’s for team members in Compulink.
• HMO Prior-Authorizations: Coordinating with patients’ Primary Care Physicians via fax and phone to acquire HMO’s for upcoming visits when needed.
• VSP & EyeMed Check Posting in Compulink
• Monitoring, initiating and responding to patient communication through Weave - our online messaging system.
• Responding to weaves from our team members to address patient needs
• Emailing patients and team members as needed; sending glasses & contact lens prescriptions.
• A/R Adjustments as assigned in Compulink.
• Filing Vision Claims electronically
• Managing a personal to-do list in our software; to-do’s assigned by others, can also use it for their own to-do’s
• Attaching scans to patient charts in Compulink
• Entering in data to weekly KPI & Scorecard Tracking
• Other admin/billing/insurance/communication tasks as assigned.

Qualifications/Requirements

What it takes to be part of our team:
• Bachelor's Degree in any field.
• At least 1-2 years of experience in a Virtual Assistant or Secretarial or Administrative Assistant role.
• At least 1-2 years of Healthcare Background or Experience; familiar in HIPAA Regulations
• Preferred but not required: Background in Medical Billing and Insurance Verification Process
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Preferrably a friendly and warm communicator.
• Excellent Computer Skills; can type a minimum of 45 WPM.
• High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
• Great organizational skills, including time management and ability to manage daily, weekly, monthly tasks and prioritize workflow and meet deadlines successfully.
• Amenable to Work on Night Shift.
• Has own space and stable internet connection for Work From Home.
