About the role
We are seeking an experienced Buyer to join our dynamic team at Acbel PolyTech (Phils.), Inc.'. As a Buyer, you will play a crucial role in our Manufacturing, Transport & Logistics operations, contributing to the efficiency and success of our Purchasing, Procurement & Inventory processes. This is a full-time position based in Calamba City Laguna.

What you'll be doing
  • Researching and identifying potential suppliers to meet the company's purchasing needs
  • Negotiating contracts and agreements with suppliers to secure the best possible terms and prices
  • Monitoring market trends and supplier performance to ensure the company is getting the best value
  • Collaborating with internal departments to understand their purchasing requirements and source appropriate materials or services
  • Maintaining detailed records of all purchasing activities, including orders, invoices, and delivery statuses
  • Implementing and adhering to the company's procurement policies and procedures
  • Identifying opportunities for cost savings and operational improvements in the purchasing process

Qualifications/Requirements


  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in a Buyer or Purchasing Specialist role, preferably within the Manufacturing industry
  • Strong negotiation and communication skills to effectively liaise with suppliers and internal stakeholders
  • Knowledge in SAP and Excel
  • Thorough understanding of procurement best practices, including contract management, supplier evaluation, and inventory control
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and adapt to changing business requirements
  • Exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to ensuring the accuracy and completeness of purchasing records
