POSITION NAME: JAPAN BUSINESS GROUP SENIOR MANAGER
The Japan Business Group (JBG) Senior Manager helps grow the Firm’s business through constantly seeking out opportunities with potential Japanese clients and engagement support for Japanese clients.
PRIMARY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Contribute to achieving the PD goals and growth retention and growth target of the JBG
- Presence and visibility in international circles for stronger brand equity - Join chambers, associations, and other business circles representing P&A Grant Thornton in the international community. Initiate activities where P&A Grant Thornton thought leadership and capabilities are exhibited such as writing articles and giving seminars in Japanese.
- Lead generation and client wins – Understand the Japanese business market and identify target clients. Contact clients, potential leads, strategic partners, and other stakeholders to broaden relationship networks and propose the firm’s services leading to more client conversion.
- Client relationship management – Lead in maintaining good relationship with Japanese top management of the client, help in handling communication to address needs or issues with client, and identify possible opportunity for new services with the client. Introduce and accompany the related engagement team in various touchpoints to strengthen relationships with the client.
- Set target and deliver reports to the partners monthly, quarterly and annually on revenue and activity updates.
- Encourage and participate in cultural exchange and social activities in the office.
- Communicate in Japanese with Japanese business community
