Our audit services aim to independently verify client’s financial statements, enhancing stakeholder trust and company’s financial integrity. Our services bolster financial statement reliability, crucial for investment and loan acquisition, asset protection, and improved financial governance through risk reduction and compliance.
Your key responsibilities
As an Associate within Audit Services, you will:
• Effectively execute procedures based on the audit plan and prepare the relevant workpapers
• Apply knowledge in Philippine Financial Reporting Standards and related financial reporting matters, as well as relevant SEC, BIR, BSP, and IC regulations.
• Learn to draft audit reports, management letters, and other communications under guidance.
• Receive coaching and contribute to the teamwork of audit professionals.
• Begin to build relationships with client personnel, showing adaptability and a willingness to learn problem-solving skills.
• Engage with other professionals within SGV, including Tax, IT, Consulting and Valuation to understand the importance of cross-disciplinary collaboration.
Skills and attributes for success
• Assist the engagement team in planning and executing engagements with a focus on efficiency and learning.
• Understand and assist in applying financial and non-financial data within the audit process.
• Build knowledge and experience in external audits, finance, financial analysis, financial reporting, statement analysis, and learn to adhere to auditing and accounting standards.
• Develop project management skills to support teamwork and engage with technology to contribute to enhanced deliverables.
• Learn to communicate complex data clearly to non-experts, including crafting written and visual presentations.
• Begin to think strategically about the integration of analytics within audit engagements and assurance services.
