  • Manage a variety of existing key accounts within the company's product range
  • Establish solid working relationships with key players in target markets, aimed at developing and growing long-term contract business
  • Make a major contribution to the ongoing planning and development of the company's sales and business development strategies
  • Provide regular information to assist management with decision making, including competitor profiles and market analysis
  • Liaise with current customers in the company's target markets on a regular basis to ensure that they continue to be satisfied with the company's products
  • Assist with after sales queries, investigate customer complaints and ensure that they are dealt with to the customers' satisfaction
  • Establish relationships with new customers and secure contracts with new customers that achieve assigned sales quotas and targets
  • Prospect for potential customers using various direct methods such as calling and face to face meetings
  • Maintain a high level of relevant domain knowledge in order to have meaningful conversations with prospect customers
  • Develop and maintain key account plans that identify opportunities for the company to deliver value and strategic motivators

Qualifications/Requirements

  • Bachelor’s/College Degree in Business Administration, Management, Marketing, or equivalent
  • Ability to prioritize, demonstrating first class organizational, and time management skills
  • Strong market knowledge and experience in working across various functions
  • Able to work on their own initiative and adaptable
  • Excellent negotiation, customer service, and consulting skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Must have strong interpersonal skills and are knowledgeable in negotiation and consultative selling
  • Experience in wholesale or retail industry would be an advantage
