As our Accounting Associate/Staff, you will be part of the shared services accounting team, reporting directly to the Group Finance & Accounting Manager. You will be responsible for our growing company's day-to-day financial and accounting operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintaining book of accounts, including preparation of journal entries;
- Assisting in the preparation of complete financial statements, payroll computation, and timely preparation of bank reconciliation;
- Preparing end-to-end payroll activities;
- Monitoring of Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable;
- Preparing tax computations and returns;
- Monitoring of monthly accruals and depreciation of fixed assets;
- Ensuring the company books are following the Philippine Financial Reporting Standard and/or International Financial Reporting Standards, whichever is applicable
- Implementing, maintaining, and improvement of internal financial controls and procedures;
- Physical inventory count as needed;
- Other areas include, but are not limited to, document verification, data entry operation, and administrative assistance.
