ACCOUNTING ASSISTANT

• Responsible for accurate and timely recording of collection receipt/cash receipt (CR) transactions.
• Performs monitoring of completeness and accuracy of direct deposits collections from store sales transactions.
• Performs validation of all collections and ensures reconciliation of bank and book records.
• Responsible for filing and submission of monthly and quarterly government statutory reports (AR related) such as e-sales reporting, VAT relief, creditable withholding tax, etc.
• Prepares and submits accurate accounts receivable reports within set deadline.

Accounts Payable role:

• Responsible for the receiving of AP documents within the accounting department.
• Validates the completeness of all transmitted documents before endorsement and submission to the Accounts Payable team.
• Prepares the transmittal of all physical documents for processing.
• Tracks all reports needed for monitoring of received and returned documents from its source.

Financial Reporting role:

• Responsible for the checking and correction of the accumulated depreciable expenses of the assets for different business units.
• Performs accurate validation and correction of inventory adjustment entries and clean-up.
• Prepares the reconciliation of books versus bank records for different business units.
• Responsible for the validation and correction of income and expense related transactions and clearing accounts.
• Ensures timely and accurate submission of complete management/financial reports (ie. balance sheet and income statement).
