This job directly reports to the Treasury Manager and is responsible in managing the day to day issues and concerns of the Cashiering and Customer Service Section in the store branch. This is also responsible for managing the performance of the Treasury Specialists which includes coaching, counseling, discipline as well as planning and monitoring job results. Ensures that system policies and procedures related to treasury has been duly implemented.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. People Management
1.1 Monitors attendance and performance of the Area Cashiering Supervisor, Cashiering Supervisor and Customer Service;
2. POS Machine Management
2.1 Performs inventory including movements, retirement, repairs of the
POS machines, and the like;
2.2 Checks BIR sticker and permits on the machines;
2.3 Ensures cleanliness and physical maintenance of the machine and
establishes compliance tool if needed;
3. Swiping Machine Update Inventory
3.1 Performs inventory of the swiping machines ensuring that all issues
has been addressed and cleanliness and physical maintenance is
observed at all times;
4. Branch Visits
4.1 Conducts evaluation and assessment review;
4.2 Cascades and implements new policies and procedures pertaining to
treasury;
4.3 Updates standard policies and procedures related to treasury and
cascades to the team;
4.4 Resolves cashiering issues and concerns through action plans;
5. Cashiering Academy Training
5.1 Conducts assessment of Area Cashiering Supervisor on their
technical skills during training period;
5.2 Conducts and provides in-house training for the developmental
growth of the cashiers;
5.3 Assists and guides the cashiers in the implementation of the standard
policies and procedures;
6. Administrative Tasks and Reportorial
6.1 Coordinates with other departments on the issues and concerns
related to treasury;
6.2 Prepares and submits monthly cashiering dashboard;
6.3 Assists in the pre-opening preparations for new stores; ensures that
all plantilla for cashiers is completes; assists during opening day in
the counter area;
6.4 Performs any other related tasks as may be assigned from time to
time.

JOB SPECIFICATIONS:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Commerce or any related courses
  • Minimum of 5 years relevant work experience with at least 2 years supervisory role in
    Treasury, in retail industry or similar duties
