Job Description

Customer Service: Greet guests in a friendly and professional manner. Provide high-quality service throughout the dining experience to ensure customer satisfaction.
Order Taking: Accurately take customer orders, relaying specific preferences and dietary requirements to the kitchen staff.
Food and Beverage Service: Serve food and drinks to guests. This includes presenting the menu, offering recommendations, and answering any questions regarding food and beverage selections.
Table Maintenance: Keep tables clean and organized, which includes clearing dishes, resetting tables for new guests, and maintaining a tidy dining area.
Billing and Payment Processing: Present bills to guests, process payments, ensure accurate transactions, and return change or process credit card payments as needed.
Compliance with Health and Safety Guidelines: Adhere to all health and safety standards in handling food and beverages, as well as general cleanliness and hygiene.
Secondary Responsibilities:
Stock and Supplies Management: Ensure that dining and service areas are well-stocked with necessary supplies, such as linens, cutlery, glasses, and dishes.
Feedback Collection: Obtain feedback from guests to improve the dining experience and address any issues promptly to maintain customer satisfaction.
Team Collaboration: Work closely with kitchen and bar staff to ensure smooth operation and timely service. This includes coordinating with chefs and bartenders for order accuracy and special requests.
Skills and Qualifications:
Experience: Previous experience as a waitress or in a customer service role is preferred but not required.
Communication Skills: Excellent verbal communication skills to interact effectively with customers and team members.
Attention to Detail: Ability to remember orders and adhere to specific customer requests and dietary needs.
Physical Stamina: Capable of standing for long periods and managing multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
Problem-Solving Skills: Quick thinking and problem-solving abilities to handle customer issues and ensure a positive dining experience.
Personality Traits: Friendly, polite, and capable of maintaining a positive demeanor under pressure.
Education:
Minimum Requirement: High school diploma or equivalent. Further qualifications in hospitality or related fields can be advantageous.
Work Environment:
Shift Work: The role may require working in shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Physical Requirements: The job involves considerable physical activity including walking, standing, bending, and carrying heavy trays.

Qualifications/Requirements

1. Education and Training:
Minimum Education: High school diploma or equivalent; further education in hospitality or restaurant management is a plus.
Training: On-the-job training is typically provided, but previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting can be advantageous.
2. Experience:
