MAIN PURPOSE OF THE JOB
The job of the Delivery Helper covers the ff:
- Assist in handling of products/inventory onto warehouse/delivery trucks that includes moving items inside or between delivery trucks while maximizing inventory turnover;
- Help in delivery facilitation from loading and unloading of products from delivery trucks, and to customers
- Assist in ensuring timely and accurate dispatch and delivery of all outgoing stocks from warehouse to customers ensuring its proper recording and accountability thereof.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
The Delivery Helper is tasked to:
- Closely coordinate with the Delivery Driver for efficiency of everyday delivery and related operations. Ensures all outgoing delivery schedules and line-up are met without fail.
- Assists Warehouse staffs on dispatching products/inventories in the warehouse for delivery to customers; and keeps proper arrangement of stocks in the delivery trucks.
- Responsible for safe keeping of all the outgoing documents during deliveries, including Delivery Receipts (DR) and Return Slip (RS) for returned items.
- Handles unloading at the delivery sites, ensuring minimal costs of delivery and product damages.
- Ensures that customers properly receive all deliveries, and that all the receiving documents (DRs) are submitted regularly to the Warehouse Supervisor.
- Reports to the office significant information related to products received (such as quality, weight, etc.) and all incidents observed/encountered during deliveries.
- Assists in the repair and maintenance of company delivery trucks, particularly regular cleaning and disinfection.
- Assists in maintaining safe and clean work environment in the warehouse by keeping the unloading/loading areas and delivery trucks garage orderly, and complying with warehouse procedures, rules and regulations.
- Maintain regular attendance and time keeping effectively, and properly informs the immediate supervisor or the office of any absences.
Performs administrative duties such as:
- Ensuring correct product loaded over delivery document requirements of customers such as Certificate of Analysis (COA) according to Batch/Lots;
- Double-checking of DR details upon delivery dispatch according to – product name, packaging labels, volume, and document attachments (e.g. COA);
- Completes trip reports documents, including delivery expenses and submits regular replenishments to the office.
- Performs other job duties as required.
